Depending on the size of the affected area to be treated, a cherry to walnut-sized amount, corresponding to 2-4 g of gel, is required. The maximum total daily dose is 8 g of gel and the recommended duration of treatment is 5-7 days. If symptoms continue or worsen after 7 days of use, it is recommended to consult a doctor and/or pharmacist.
Contraindications for Sandoz Diclofenac 100 g gel
Do not use Sandoz Care Diclofenac 100 g gel if you are hypersensitive to the active substance diclofenac or to any of its excipients, in children under 14 years of age or in the third trimester of pregnancy. Also in patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions such as asthma, urticaria, angioedema or acute rhinitis in response to acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
