Contraindications

Side effects

Like all medicines, Bucospray may cause side effects: staining of teeth or fillings, irritation of the mouth or tip of the tongue, altered taste perception.

Precautions

Take special care before using Bucospray and consult your doctor if: you are going to undergo any analytical or diagnostic test. If you have asthma. If you have fillings or tartar build-up. If you are taking sulphonamides, Alzheimer's drugs (cholinesterase inhibitors) or other mouth/throat antiseptics. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Composition of Cinfa Bucospray 8.75 Mg/Dose, 15 ml

Bucospray contains two active ingredients: 0.5mg/ml chlorhexidine gluconate (antiseptic) and 15mg/ml benzocaine (anaesthetic). These active ingredients are accompanied by the following excipients: sodium saccharin, 96º ethanol, glycerol, ammonium glycyrrhizinate and strawberry essence.

Pharmaceutical advice

Bucospray is a medicine that can be used to relieve symptoms and camouflage them, but it does not treat the root of the problem. Therefore, when faced with dental pain and/or infection, we always recommend seeing a dentist so that a proper diagnosis and correct treatment can be established. This medicine is applied in the oral cavity but should not be swallowed or aspirated. It should be kept away from food and drink to allow it to work. If you do not improve or your symptoms worsen after two days of treatment, you should consult your doctor. We recommend good dental hygiene to avoid discolouration of the teeth during use and to rinse the mouth thoroughly after brushing to remove the paste and allow the product to work properly.
