Do not open the protective pouch if you are not going to apply ThermaCare. ThermaCare may take up to 30 minutes to reach the desired therapeutic temperature. Place the patch over the area to be treated with the darker side of the thermal cells facing the skin and adjust the patch from the front.
If you are 55 years of age or older, wear ThermaCare over a layer of clothing and do not wear it directly on the skin.
For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to leave ThermaCare on for 8 hours.
