Pharmagrip in sachets is a medicine containing the active ingredients paracetamol (an analgesic that
reduces pain and fever) and phenylephrine (which reduces nasal congestion). It is indicated in catarrhal or flu-like processes in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age to relieve these symptoms.

Pharmagrip 10 sachets is indicated for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

How to take Pharmagrip granulated sachets

Pharmagrip granulated sachets are taken orally, dissolved in water. The recommended dose is:
- For adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 sachet every 6-8 hours, up to a maximum of 3 sachets in 24 hours.
-Patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Contraindications of Pharmagrip sachets

You cannot take Pharmagrip for congestion if you have allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its components, renal or hepatic insufficiency, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, ischaemic heart disease, tachycardia, glaucoma, diabetes, porphyria or if you are being treated with MAOI antidepressants. You should not take this medicine in combination with alcoholic drinks or other medicines containing paracetamol.

Side effects of Pharmagrip Sachets for congestion

As with all medicines, side effects of Pharmagrip may occur, although not all people experience them, such as: allergic or hypersensitivity reactions, anaphylactic shock, liver problems, blood disorders, skin rash, skin peeling or mouth ulcers, hypoglycaemia, high blood pressure, breathing problems... This medicine contains yellow orange S as an excipient, which may cause allergic reactions in patients with an allergy to salicylates. Tell your doctor and/or pharmacist if you experience any of these symptoms: dry mouth, visual disturbances, constipation or inability to urinate.
