Pharmaceutical advice
herpotherm® neo should not be used on/on:
- Eyes and eyelids
- Mucous membranes
- Open wounds, skin lesions (e.g. open blisters)
- Scalds or burns on the skin
- Frostbite skin lesions
- Tumours and malignant skin changes
- Known algesia (high pain sensitivity) in case of small fibre neuropathy, allodynia, hyperalgesia
- Persons with known limitation of pain and temperature sensitivity.
In the following cases it is recommended to consult a doctor:
- Persistent symptoms during application of herpotherm® neo.

Worsening of symptoms during use of herpotherm® neo. Do not continue to use the product until clarification.
Other recommendations:
- In addition, the device should not be used immediately after applying ointments, creams, lotions and other preparations to the skin area to be treated, because possible interactions with the ingredients of these products cannot be ruled out.
- In isolated cases, the temperature may be perceived as unpleasant.
- Sensitive skin may redden briefly after application.
- In very rare cases, skin irritation may occur in people with sensitive skin types.
- Do not use the device in case of injury, obvious malfunction or if the housing is open.
- Do not use damaged or damp batteries.
- Protect the device from moisture.
- No modifications to the herpotherm® neo are permitted.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children.
- Please note that herpotherm® neo contains small parts that can be swallowed by children under 3 years of age and therefore pose a choking hazard.
Indications for use:
- herpotherm® neo is indicated for self-application by adults and children over 12 years of age.
- In children under 12 years of age, the device may only be applied by an adult.

- Children under 7 years of age are usually not able to understand the relationship between a short heat treatment and its benefits.
